The PACT/129 Art Camps Begin in September – We Invite Young People to Create Together!
The St. Anna Foundation is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the art camps under the PACT/129 project “Different, but Together – Artivism for Equality, Human Dignity and Solidarity”, which will take place on 8, 9 and 10 September 2026, simultaneously in Varna and Burgas.
The initiative is aimed at young people aged 18–29 with disabilities and their future friends, who will have the opportunity to create, connect, and build new friendships in an inclusive and supportive environment.
What lies ahead?
Over the course of three days, participants will take part in a variety of creative workshops:
- Painting
Participants will experiment with different artistic techniques, colours, and compositions, creating original works inspired by European values, human dignity, equality, solidarity, and friendship.
- Ceramics
Working with clay will give young people the chance to model and craft their own ceramic pieces. This creative process develops imagination, patience, fine motor skills, and confidence in one’s own abilities.
- Textile art
In the textile workshops, participants will work with various techniques for decorating and artistically finishing textiles. Through creativity and teamwork, they will produce unique pieces that reflect their own ideas and individuality.
- Music and stage expression
The camps will also make room for musical and stage performances. Young people with musical and singing talents will present their own pieces, and everyone who wishes to join will be able to take part in shared musical moments that make the atmosphere even more emotional and inspiring. We believe that music, much like the visual arts, brings people together, encourages free self-expression, and creates a genuine sense of community.
Through art, young people will express their ideas, dreams, and visions of a Europe built on equality, human dignity, solidarity, and mutual respect.
More than creative workshops
The art camps are not simply a place to make beautiful works. They are a space where differences are embraced as a value, and where talent, support, and cooperation become the foundation for new friendships and personal growth.
Participants will work in mixed teams, exchange ideas, and inspire one another, proving that art is a universal language that connects people and builds communities without barriers.
Who can take part?
We welcome young people from across the country aged 18–29, whether or not they have previous experience in the arts. What matters most is the desire to take part, a creative spirit, and a readiness to be part of a shared experience.
Participation requires prior registration, and places are limited.
We look forward to welcoming every young person who believes that creativity can be a path to greater confidence, new friendships, and active participation in society.
