Different, but Together

About the Project

“Different, but Together – Artivism for Equality, Human Dignity and Solidarity” (PACT/129) is an initiative that uses the power of art as a tool for social change, inclusion, and community building.

The project aims to promote European values – equality, non-discrimination, human dignity, and solidarity – through the active participation of young people and people with different abilities in collaborative creative processes.

At the core of the initiative is the concept of artivism, combining art and civic engagement. Through this approach, participants not only create artworks but also express ideas, experiences, and messages related to human rights and social inclusion.

Key Activities

The project includes a set of interconnected activities:

  • art camps where participants co-create artistic works;
  • development of an online gallery to present the results and the stories behind them;
  • organization of public events and exhibitions to reach wider audiences;
  • implementation of a communication campaign to promote the project values.

Expected Impact

The expected impact goes beyond artistic production. The project supports the development of skills, confidence, and active civic engagement among participants, while fostering interaction and mutual understanding.

By engaging local communities in Varna and Burgas, as well as through online platforms, the initiative reaches a broader audience and contributes to changing attitudes towards diversity.
